White Conservatory Roof

aluminium white conservatory roof lit up at night. A unique conservatory roof is shown here with a gable overhang and folding doors underneath. This picture is a good example of why aluminium is particularly suitable for roofs and doors - the slim aluminium frames. As you can see, the large glass area and unobtrusive frames give this structure a slim, elegant and airy quality which is enhanced by the feature lighting.

Gable Ended Roof Including Edwardian Lantern

A gable ended roof complete with Edwardian roof lantern. Here we have gable ended aluminium conservatory roof underneath an Edwardian roof lantern and finished in a white powder coat paint. Tougher than traditional paint, powder coating is a form of painting where a dry powder is electrostatically applied to the metal. The aluminium is then placed in an oven to cure the paint to create a hard finish. Powder coated aluminium requires the minimum of maintenance to keep it good looking for years.

Orangery

Four hipped roof with box gutter in an orangery style. This conservatory is in an Orangery style - although the exact characteristics of what makes an Orangery are open for debate. Orangeries are similar to a greenhouse or conservatory and were popular between the 17th and 19th century. Their name reflects the original use of the building as a place where exotic fruit trees were kept during the winter to protect them from frost. Large windows and doors are traditional features of an orangery, with the roof either fitted as a traditional conservatory roof (like this picture) or as a lantern roof. The roof pictured has a box gutter installed along the back (unseen) to take the rainwater away from the roofs at their V meeting point. The box gutter is not ordinary guttering, but a very strong, oversized, marine plywood and fibreglass U shaped gutter.

Gable Ended Conservatory Roof

Gable ended aluminium conservatory roof with flat cappings. A traditional style aluminium conservatory roof is shown here. The roof is gable ended and the top of the roof, or ridge, has flat cappings to give a clean, crisp look. The aluminium has been polyester powder coated in a RAL colour to give a bespoke look.

Lean-to Style Conservatory Roof

Aluminium conservatory roof covering a hardwood conservatory. This roof is a standard lean-to style conservatory roof, installed on top of a hardwood frame. The roof is curved to match the structure beneath. The flexibility of the ABD system allows us to have a roof pitch of between 5 and 45 degrees - a far greater range than many roofs on the market.

Victorian Conservatory Roof

Victorian roof installed at the Duration Windows showroom, including box gutter. Here we have a Victorian style conservatory which forms part of our showrooms. This conservatory has electric roof vents fitted for ventilation and a box gutter between this roof and the office building that it joins to.
