Ring Beam Type We offer two ringbeam types, standard and structural. Standard is our most common and cost effective. A structural ringbeam is only required when a roof is over a large opening - such as a bi-fold. Because bi-fold doors cannot have any weight pushing down on them we recommend a structural ring beam to take the weight of the roof and glass panels. The structural ring beam is massively overbuilt with thicker aluminium walls and a cross brace design.

Metres of Box Guttering Required Box guttering is not standard guttering but a special gutter system to go between two pitched roofs. If your house roof and your conservatory roof join in a V shape a box gutter would be required at the bottom of the V where the two roofs join. The box gutter is a U shape and oversized to take the large volume of water from two roofs.
Ordinary rainwater guttering may be supplied if required - please see question further down the form.

Glazing Type There are many glass types available all of which are double glazed, or you may opt for the more economical Polycarbonate, or unglazd. We always recommend double glazed glass sealed units for our roofs.
